Last week I mentioned that my Father-in-law was found unresponsive during the night. He never regained consciousness and was found to have no meaningful brain activity. He was removed from life support last Thursday and passed away peacefully. Yesterday was the funeral.
It has been a very, very shocking time and we are numb with the loss of a great man who gave his family a beautiful legacy of unconditional love and support and a life of faith. We will miss him like crazy. He was "Papa" to my girls and they are devasted to lose another grandpa so soon after losing my Dad.
I ask for your continued prayers as we try to navigate what life will be without him. Both Papa and my Dad were avid model train lovers. I find myself now picturing the two of them setting up their trains in heaven together. I look forward to seeing them again and so thankful for the knowledge of heaven and the hope that it brings us.
Thank you so much!
