So, my youngest daughter is really into Harry Potter. She has read all the books, seen all the movies, and has most of the Harry Potter lego sets.
She also loves to bake.
For her birthday, I decided to combine those two loves into a gift and made her a Harry Potter apron! I found one on Pinterest that I liked, but I wanted to incorporate the famous HP tie into it too. I used this apron pattern, combining the bottom from D with the top from C. I was hoping to make the top look like the HP grey sweater uniform. So I made the top of the apron white and sewed a tie into the white part. I also added some ribbon and a patch to it and then sewed some ruffled tulle to the bottom.
What do you think? I was pleased with how it turned out and am excited to try making another one for my daughter's friend who's having a birthday soon who also loves Harry. Always love it when a project turns out!
