Hi Blog friends! It has been a while and I have so much to tell you!
First, thanks for praying about my husband's job situation. I am so happy to report that he has accepted an offer for a new job that starts in January. We will get to stay where we are and he can still finish his current position. We feel so blessed and relieved!
Second, my summer bucket list was pretty much a bust for myself. The one we had as a family was tackled pretty well, incuding a really fun and over-the-top Harry Potter party "just because." The best of my personal bucket list that I did accomplish was a half marathon! I finished 13.1 miles on August 18! It feels like such an accomplishment that I trained for and completed it--me, a girl who always struggled with gym classes. It felt so good--well, until I got really sore for 3 days after.
Third, well, I'm still living the scrambling life. Meaning, I'm still trying to keep plates spinning in the web/graphic design job and craft work and reading too. Oh, and there's running around getting my kids to all their activities too! Unfortunately, the design work has pretty much taken over and I would love to get back to more reading/reviewing and craft work again. This fall will be unbelievably hectic though, since I am sewing 10 skirts for my daughter's dance company. At 7 yards of fabric/ruffles per skirt, I am going to be sewing a lot!
That's about it for a quick update! How are you guys doing? Did you have a good summer?
