Anyway, the point is, that I've had a very strange week. Here it is in a nutshell:
My kids' teachers walked out in protest to a bill being proposed here. So they were home from school for 3 unexpected days. I'm not expressing a political belief here, but just a parental one that would like my kids to be able to learn please.
My oldest daughter got sick again. She's had so much trouble with fevers and coughs this year. I'm not sure why.
My husband's company got "acquired" by another company and we don't know the impact of that on his job. Since I don't bring in a lot of income with my craft business, this is very upsetting for me and my worry radar is on high alert.
I had a big event at my church on Friday night, teaching 50+ women some craft projects.
My nephew went missing when he was hiking on a mountain in California during a snow storm. He was missing for 12 hours last night. Praise God he was found and is ok.
All in all, I've had a very unusual week. I'm not sure I know what to make of all of it. I do know that I need to make some financial changes and try to boost my income in some way. Reading may have to slide down the list a bit so that I can take on more income-earning tasks. Also, as much as I don't like the idea of doing it, I will have to limit the giveaways now since the shipping always comes as a personal expense. Time will tell in more detail how this will all shake out.
