True confessions time. I have A LOT of books. What's worse is that I haven't read most of the books I have. I have some really great books just waiting for me to read them. I NEED to read them. But then a new book comes out and I want to read that too. I hate the thought of missing out on a great new book! But it's more than a little sad to see the books that have been patiently waiting for me to read them. It makes me think of the toys from Toy Story waiting for someone to play with them. I'm sorry to my lonely books!
I need to keep myself reading the books on my shelf. So 2011 may have reviews from books that aren't always brand new releases. But I think that's ok too. Some will be new, some will be a from a few years ago. There's great books out there waiting for us to discover. One of my goals for 2011 is to read at least 100 of these books from my shelf. (Yes, I have over 100 TBR books!) I'll put a list on the sidebar and we'll see how I do with crossing them off. I'm sure many of them will end up being in giveaways too!
