Cool Beans
Everything seems to be going perfectly for Maya Davis: She has a great job at a coffee shop, gets along with her parents, and is happily single. That is until her best friend starts dating Maya’s high school sweetheart.
Maya Davis's life is in a buzz! Her apartment is "Wedding Central" since her ex-boyfriend proposed to her roommate. Jen's obnoxious mom moved in to help plan---and now Maya's brother and sister-in-law have announced their pregnancy. And then there's the matter of Jack---is it love or just really good French roast?
My Thoughts:
I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again: "I LOVE ERYNN MANGUM'S BOOKS!" Phew! Good thing I got that off my chest!
What do I love about her books? They are light-hearted, but deep, if that makes sense. She has a way of creating fun and quirky characters (like Maya) who are real and make mistakes but are actively trying to live their lives for Christ. I love the funny moments, the romantic moments, and the epiphanies of Maya's events. Some great books and I can't wait to read the third one Double Shot in November.
