RULES FOR ENTERING:
a. Post a comment to the blog entries of the books you would like to win AND answer the question that goes with it.
Today's question: summer is winding down for me as my kids get ready for school to start on Sept. 2. Now that I'm thinking about fall, what are the five words that pop into your head when you think of autumn? Maybe I can do a "fall things" giveaway sometime! Mine are: school, leaves, pumpkins, football, and hot chocolate!
b. Enter on or before the date specified. Today's book winner will be drawn on September 1.
c. Check back for the next summer theme word giveaway!
I have a one more set of books to give away from the "horses" part of my summer things words. These are The Horse Dreams Trilogy by Stephen Bly.
Book 1: Memories of a Dirt Road Town
Description:
When Develyn's estranged husband dies before they can reconcile, her 21-year-old daughter blames her for his death. Seeking solace in memories of her Wyoming childhood and a beautiful pony, Develyn sets out on a life-changing journey. Can she accept God's forgiveness for others---and for herself?
Description:
In this second book of the winsome Horse Dreams trilogy, heavyhearted divorcee Develyn Worrell’s mood continues to lighten as she has escaped Indiana to enjoy the equine charms of a small Wyoming town. There, in a place she visited as a child and has dreamt of ever since, the Lord’s leading becomes clearer, even as cowboy romances and the relationship with her grown daughter get more complicated.
Book 3: Wish I'd Known You Tears Ago
Description:
In this closing book of the Horse Dreams trilogy, soul-searching Indiana schoolteacher Develyn Worrell has finally found her groove. Ready to savor the end of summer in a small Wyoming town she once visited as a child, she settles in for a time of peace and contentment. That is, until her daughter pays a visit, an eclectic friend plans to marry, a suspicious stranger enters the picture, and a dear mentor suffers a heart attack. Such confusion would be overwhelming, except for the steady friendship of Cooper Tallon. He may lack the charm and flash of other cowboys, but always seems to have just what Develyn's heart needs. And with her trust in the Lord still growing, she looks forward to whatever follows.
