Just for fun I thought I'd answer the Christmas quiz I saw on Vader's Mom's blog (thanks!)
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Gift bags when I have them
2. Real tree or artificial? Artificial. I like to put it up too early for real ones
3. When do you put up the tree? Always the day after Thanksgiving! (Tradition!)
4. When do you take the tree down? Usually between Christmas and New Years--I get sick of having the front window blocked and the furniture all funny.
5. Do you like eggnog? I like it, but it doesn't like me.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Roller Skates
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes. I have 5 of them! I love unique ones.
8. Hardest person to buy for? My father-in-law
9. Easiest person to buy for? My girls
10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? the year I went to the family Christmas and we did our annual exchange from the names we drew and my person got me a big fat nothing!
11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail, but wish I knew all the email addresses so I could just email them!
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? It's a Wonderful Life
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually in November
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Christmas cookies and my mother-in-law's egg nog pie!
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? I have clear--but I'm thinking about colored next year for something different. Definately nothing that flashes or blinks!
17. Favorite Christmas song? Sleigh Bells
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Mostly in the area.
19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer? Maybe...
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angel
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? both
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? too early with the decorations in the malls, everyone saying "happy holidays" but never "Merry Christmas."
23. What I love most about Christmas? The reason. And time with my family.
