It's time to release some of the books that have been flying around my living room looking for a new home. Would you be willing to help them find new owners?
I'm having another book giveaway from now until the end of March here on this blog! There will be a whole variety of different kinds of books! I hope you'll find some books you like!
Here are the rules:
1.) To enter the drawing for a book, just answer my random question for the day in the comments of the post.
Today's question: What's the last movie you saw? How was it?
My Answer: I am thinking of taking my girls to see "The Lorax" this afternoon. The last movie I saw was "National Treasure." It was on TV last night. I always like that movie!
2.) Be reachable by email should you win, so I can let you know.
3.) Enter by March 18, a winner will be selected the following day.
4.) Come back again!
Today's book: Wonderland Creek by Lynn Austin
Description:
Alice Grace Ripley lives in a dream world, her nose stuck in a book. But the happily-ever-after life she's planned on suddenly falls apart when her boyfriend, Gordon, breaks up with her, accusing her of living in a world of fiction instead of the real world. Then to top it off, Alice loses her beloved job at the library because of cutbacks due to the Great Depression.
Fleeing small-town gossip, Alice heads to the mountains of eastern Kentucky to deliver five boxes of donated books to a library in the tiny coal-mining village of Acorn. Dropped off by her relatives, Alice volunteers to stay for two weeks to help the librarian, Leslie McDougal.
My Thoughts:
I always enjoy Lynn Austin's books! I am in the middle of this one and liking it very much!

My husband and I just went to see "Safe House" with Denzel Washington. I enjoyed, lots of action and the language wasn't real bad.

I haven't seen a movie in the theater for 4 years, I think. But the last movie I watched would have been "Leap Year" on Wednesday. :-D It's pretty fun.
Hmmm... a book about books! What bibliophile wouldn't enjoy that? :-)

I watched a movie called "Trust" and it was okay. The subject matter was a little deep and it starting to drag on.

It's rare that my husband and I get to sit down and watch a movie. One of the last movies we watched was Soul Surfer. What an awesome movie. I thought Dennis Quaid, as the father of the girl that lost her arm did an absolutely AWESOME job.
Would love to win a copy of Wonderland Creek.
Smiles & Blessings,
Cindy W.

THe last movie that I went to see was "The Help". THe first time, I went, was with a group of ladies from my church. Then the second time was with a girlfriend of mine that I have known for the past 30 years. And the last time was with my sister. I know, you say, three times! I would have gone again, if I could have convinced my Hubby to go, but he just looked at me, with that look, "you have really got to me kidding me, a chick-lit movie". I don't think that I will ever be able to eat a pie without laughing in my mind.
Thanks for the chance to win a free book

My husband and I saw 'One for the Money'. It just didn't seem funny. I was very disappointed in it.
