My Mission with this blog

  • It is my mission with this blog to introduce others to Christian fiction and all the things that reading a story can teach us about faith, hope, peace, love, and our Lord. Afterall, Jesus Himself often used stories to give powerful lessons. I also will be including some of my craft projects here as well.

My husband and I just went to see "Safe House" with Denzel Washington. I enjoyed, lots of action and the language wasn't real bad.

Cindi

My husband and I watched "Shutter Island!"
Loved it...Thanks, Cindi

I haven't seen a movie in the theater for 4 years, I think. But the last movie I watched would have been "Leap Year" on Wednesday. :-D It's pretty fun.

Hmmm... a book about books! What bibliophile wouldn't enjoy that? :-)

Watching Nanny McPhee Returns with my niece right now. Such a cute movie.

Karen

Last night I watched Pride and Prejudice, such a good movie.

I just rented Unstoppable last night and it was awesome!

I watched a movie called "Trust" and it was okay. The subject matter was a little deep and it starting to drag on.

Cindy Woolard

It's rare that my husband and I get to sit down and watch a movie. One of the last movies we watched was Soul Surfer. What an awesome movie. I thought Dennis Quaid, as the father of the girl that lost her arm did an absolutely AWESOME job.

Would love to win a copy of Wonderland Creek.

Smiles & Blessings,
Cindy W.

THe last movie that I went to see was "The Help". THe first time, I went, was with a group of ladies from my church. Then the second time was with a girlfriend of mine that I have known for the past 30 years. And the last time was with my sister. I know, you say, three times! I would have gone again, if I could have convinced my Hubby to go, but he just looked at me, with that look, "you have really got to me kidding me, a chick-lit movie". I don't think that I will ever be able to eat a pie without laughing in my mind.

Thanks for the chance to win a free book

My husband and I saw 'One for the Money'. It just didn't seem funny. I was very disappointed in it.
