"Oh the weather outside is frightful..."
It seems much of the country is dealing with a lot of snow these days. We are getting up to 7 inches again today. For the most part, I am ok with it because I have my sewing projects and my books to read and, as long as I don't have to drive in it, I'm content to be home.
So, for me, winter is a great season for reading! And, in honor of that, I am having a week-long giveaway! Every day for the next week, I will have a book to give away. I hope you will find something you would like to read!
Those rules again:
1.) To enter the drawing for a book, just answer my random question for the day in the comments of the post.
Today's question: Are you getting lots of snow where you live? Do you like snow?
2.) Be reachable by email should you win, so I can let you know.
3.) Enter by January 27, a winner will be selected the following day.
4.) Come back again tomorrow!
Today's book:
Just Between You and Me by Jenny B. Jones
Her job as a videographer takes her around the world. She tells people’s stories, especially those of impoverished children. That’s when she feels most alive, like she’s making the world better.
But when a secret from her past resurfaces, Maggie gets a call that sends her home. Her dad desperately needs her help. Her estranged sister has run off, leaving 8-year-old Riley in his care. She returns reluctantly, hoping to help her niece. There she reconnects with Cooper–a once awkward and shy, now handsome, veterinarian. Her feelings skyrocket when she’s with him, but she’s afraid if she shows him her true self, he’ll reject her.
An honest, hilarious journey that will transform Maggie–if she just learns to trust more and fear less.
My Thoughts:
It has been a few years since I read this book, but I remember well that it is a good book! Jenny B. Jones always delivers!

This looks really good! I've never read anything by Jenny B. Jones but have heard her highly recommended.
So far this year we've had 2 dustings of snow. Not much at all. Usually the beginning of February is when we have our snowstorms, so we'll see what is in store for the rest of this winter. :-)

No snow here in South Carolina. It's been chilly and gloomy. But I'm originally from Northern Wisconsin and right now they're getting wind chills up to -30. brrr. glad I'm not there! Thanks for the chance!

I live in Kentucky and we really haven't had any snow to speak of. We had a dusting last weekend that was just enough to make people (like me) paranoid to drive anywhere! :) Hopefully we won't get much more snow this winter. I am already ready for spring! Thanks for the giveaways!

I just read my first Jenny B. Jones book, and I liked it quite a bit! No snow here, alas. We got two good 6-inch snowfalls in November, I think, but basically nothing since then. Which makes me sad, I like snow (don't like driving in it, though).

I love snow, and we usually get lots in Jan and Feb, but we have been mostly getting rain :(

We've been getting a lot of snow this week, I love it!
Please don't enter me for this book but it is an awesome story, it has to be one of my favorites from the last year or so.

I love snow! We received about 3 inches on Thursday and anoher 6 yesterday & last night. My husband is out blowing out driveways and sidewalks. He's so good, besides ours he does five of the neighbors too!
Thank you for the giveaway and chance to win!

Not a flake so far in Northern Texas. Very different from last year!
Thank you for this giveaway!

It's pretty. This year has been a little less than usual. Sure is cold though.
My hubby is also out snow blowing the driveway and sidewalks. He does the neighbors too. Mostly because he likes to play with his toys. lol
Sounds like a fun book.

We haven't really gotten much snow here in MI. It normally dumps 2-6 inches and the roads are bad for a couple days and then it all melts off and it's in the 40's-50's for a while. I'm okay with that routine :)

I LOVE snow and we've gotten so little this winter compared to normal. :( But we finally got about a foot this week (a couple pics on my blog) and today it's absolutely gorgeous out with blue skies too! I wish a) I wasn't sick so I could go on a photo walk and b) I could for just one day NOT be pregnant so I could go skiing. I'm sure it's amazing up there. ;)

So far we have only gotten several inches at a time which isn't bad. I don't like to have to shovel snow and I don't like to drive in it!

No snow in Georgia yet, but we had so much last year and missed so many days of school that I really don't want any this year. It's pretty but I understand the saying now "too much of a good thing".

I adore the cover of this book and the premise sounds great! I love snow, but
we have only gotten a few inches, thus
far. We did just have a layer of ice...
Not fun!
Thanks very much...Cindi

No and no! Have a few inches on the ground here - if I didn't have to go to work I would like it better!

Ahh -something we can all benefit from trust more and fear less.

I live in middle Georgia, and so far we haven't gotten any snow.

I live in Florida so I do not have to put up with any snow. I can always go visit my sister in Colorado if I want to see the white stuff.

No snow currently but had some a few days ago. We've had snow off and on this winter.

I don't live that much north of you Tami so we have about the same amount of snow, maybe a bit less. I HATE the snow, or atleast driving in it!

I'm in SC also. We rarely get snow. I like the kind that stays only for a day or two.
