Don't know if you will see this post or not, but I'm missing you all! My life has been beyond crazy and I am frustrated at myself for getting in over my head on so many projects. But, the good news is that my husband's health is greatly improved and he is doing really well! Praise God for that!
I hope you are doing well. I've been out of the loop on new books lately, so I'd love to hear from you if you have any "must reads" that I can get for our church library. We are having a special "Library Awareness Week" coming up and want some new books to feature.
Let me know if you are still reading my blog... I'd love to hear from you!
Tami

HEY TAMI!!!
I sent you an email update! Great news about hubby! I've been praying!!
Check out Jackina Stark's book, Things Worth Remembering and Kathy Cushman's Leaving Yesterday. Terri Blackstock's Intervention is also stellar!

Tami! I have you on my feed reader and I'm so glad I do. :-) Good news about your husband!!
I don't have any suggestions for new books... recently I have been rereading the "Anne of Green Gables" series and absolutely loving them. They appeal to me so differently as an adult as they did when I was a child.
Take a few deep breaths and remember what is most important. I'll pray that you will feel God's grace upon you as you get through this busy season.

Glad to see you posting again and that your husband is doing better! You're still on my bloglines so your post came through just fine. I don't have any book recommendations at the moment. Welcome back in whatever capacity/posting schedule you can do. :)

Hi Tami! It is good to hear from you. I don't have any suggestions for your church library because frankly, I discovered all the good Christian fiction here on your blog. (you are so missed!) I am thrilled your husband is doing so much better and I hope you find time to come back one day :).

Hi Tami!!! Woot! On the news about your hubby. So glad to hear he is doing better. Sorry you're still feeling "over your head".
As far as books go - I've been reading the Restorer Series and liking them. Just finished "Watching the Tree Limbs" And athe sequel, uhhhm "Wishing on Dandylions? Something about dandylions. Of course neither series is particularly new.
Good to hear from you. Praying things continue to 'smooth' in your life.

Hey! I'm so glad to hear your husband is doing well!
I second Kim's opinion on Jackina Stark's new novel! I haven't read much else noteworthy lately!

Hi Tami!
It is lovely to see you writing again. I am so thrilled to hear how well your husband is doing! I suggest reading Green by Ted Dekker, although it is the prequel and sequel to his trilogy, so you may want those as well.
Glad you are back!

Hey Tami! Glad to see you popping back in! Glad your husband is doing better.
Just read Things Worth Remembering by Jackina Stark, and it was really good. (I reviewed it here.) Also Terri Blackstock's Intervention.
Randy Alcorn's If God Is Good is another great one (Non-fiction). And Amish Peace by Suzanne Woods Fisher.
(When I previewed my comment, it looks like it doesn't accept my html codes to highlight the books. These were all reviews in the last 2-3 weeks on my blog - click on Books in my archive to get them all together.)

I read by email so I'm definitely still here! The 2nd Hunter Brown book is out this Fall - fab series for tweens! Also The Blue Umbrella for teens - both great allegorical fiction.
Glad to hear your DH is doing better!

Hi! :) I'm glad to hear your hubby's doing better!
I'd help you with the book suggestions but...I was getting all *my* new book recommendations from you! LOL

Tami, the news that your husband is doing better is all that should matter to you! I have prayed for both of you and was so glad to see you post today. There's no way I could forget you.
The newest book I've read is The Great Christmas Bowl by Susan May Warren, and I highly recommend it. It's very funny, but well written and with a strong Christian message.
For Christian fiction, I've discovered a couple of older series that are outstanding in my opinion.
1) Freedom's Path series by Judith Miller - Kansas, late 1800s, about the settlement of a black town named Nicodemus. Lots of interesting history and characters you want to spend more time with.
2) The American Patriot series by J. M. Hochstetler - The American Revolution is my favorite period of history, and I can't hardly put the first book down. An extremely well written adventure with one of the best love stories I've ever read.
I hope we'll continue to hear from you once in a while, Tami. I care about you.
